What is your service area
Our Service area covers all Hobart Suburbs. We have 4 fully equipped service vehicles on the road and can also service outline regions as required.
How long will the carpet take to dry
As a general rule carpet will take 4-6 hours to dry, This time can depend on weather conditions. Opening windows will allow air movement which will speed up the drying process.
Can I walk on carpet during the drying process
For potential slip hazard reasons it is advised that you allow the carpet to dry prior to foot traffic. If you do access the carpet prior to drying being complete- please be very careful when walking from damp carpet to hard floor due to possible slip hazard.
Do you guarantee to remove all stains
Unfortunately not every stain. We use the very best of products suited to your carpet style, however some stains are dye set or carpet has had colour removed due to incorrect spot cleaning products used. Your carpets and upholstery are in the best of hands with Lloyds Carpet Cleaning - our technicians are highly skilled and trained in all aspects of stain removal and carry a wide range of specialist cleaning products.
Do I need to vacuum before you arrive
It is preferred that all areas to be cleaned are vacuumed prior to our arrival. If you are unable to vacuum prior to our arrival your technician will undertake this service.
Pets on your property
Please ensure all pets are contained prior to our arrival.
Do you move all furniture
This is your choice. Some clients move all the furniture off the carpeted areas to be cleaned prior to our arrival, however most only move the smaller light items to an area not being cleaned and leave the heavier items like beds, cabinets, lounge furniture etc as we can clean around these. Your technician will move light items, however we are unable to move heavier bulky items. If you have any special requirements just ask as we can send an additional technician to assist with this process, this will result in an additional charge.
Do I have to be there the whole time
If you are a first time client of Lloyds Carpet Cleaning we prefer our technician to meet you there at time of appointment, introduce ourselves and complete a walk through of the areas to be cleaned. Our technician can lock the property upon completion of services if you need to leave.
Vacating a Rental - Carpet Cleaner offers a flea treatment?
We hear this more these days - you are vacating your rental property, had a pet and carpet cleaner offers an internal "flea treatment" - we recommend you avoid this as the requirements of your lease is a fumigation service - this involves inside and outside to be fumigated. It sounds similar "flea treatment" and "Fumigation" however they are not and unethical operators rely on that. An internal flea treatment offered by a carpet cleaner is not compliant and often will result in your property manager engaging a licensed pest control company to undertake this service at your additional cost. Flea fumigation must be completed some time after carpet cleaning
